Autumn 2017 Manifestos Now Available!

You can now read the manifestos of all accepted candidates for the GUSRC Spring Election 2017 here: manifestos. These are the thoughts and policies of each individual candidate who may be representing you and all of your fellow students for the next year at the highest levels of student representation at the University. There are lots of changes and improvements going on and coming up over the next few years as well. So please be thorough in your reading and voting.

Class rep training open for sign-up

Class Rep Training for undergraduate and taught postgraduate reps at Gilmorehill Campus is now open for sign-up on Student Voice.  Any class rep who has not yet done the training should attend the two-hour introductory session.

The Guide 2017/2018

This book is commissioned by Glasgow University Students’ Representative Council, the SRC, as a way of introducing you to everything you might encounter in your first year as a student. It contains information and advice on everything from choosing courses to the best live music venues; from where to pick up fruit and veg to where to look for your first post-halls at. We are recruiting for a Communications intern

We are currently recruiting a Communications Intern. We are looking for a good communicator to provide internal and external communications support for the organisation to ensure we actively communicate and promote our activities, campaigns and services to the student population and other key stakeholders. Your strengths will be your ability to communicate effectively to different audiences, your creativity, flexibility, and good organisational skills. You will be social media savvy and a motivated self-starter.  Your attention to detail will be excellent and you will be passionate about your work.
