The SRC employs a staff team, responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the organisation’s objectives and the administrative functions.
The overall responsibility for operational management lies with Bob Hay (Permanent Secretary) supported by the Senior Management Team of Gina Connor (Senior Office and Finance Administrator), Helen Speirs (Senior Advice, Policy and Training Officer) and Dave Shea (Student Opportunities Coordinator / head of GU Volunteering).
As well as Helen, the Advice Team is made up of three Advice, Policy and Training Officers (Avril Conacher, Ailie Doyle and Paul Jamieson).
Gina is supported by Sarah Cross (Administrator/Finance Assistant), Kirsteen Fraser (PA to the Permanent Secretary & SRC Executive), Markee Rambo-Hood (Support Services Administrator) and the Administration and Second-Hand Bookshop Assistants who are Alison, Hollie, Lauren, Liam, Louise, Michael, and Paul.
Dave is supported by Gemma Wilson, Administration & Support Officer within GU Volunteering. Dave and Gemma promote community and on-campus volunteering for all University of Glasgow students.
