SRC Executive 2016-2017
The 2016/2017 SRC Sabbatical officers and Council take office for the year ahead.
Graduation season is coming to an end at UofG, summer has already begun for many, and a new SRC Council is about to begin their year – please meet the new SRC Executive for 2016/17!
SRC Sabbatical Officers are elected on an annual basis by students at the University. There are four elected Sabbatical Officers – President, VP Education, VP Student Support, and VP Student Activities – we represent your views and voices throughout the year to the highest levels of the University.
We have officially started our year in office today and we have got so much planned! Representing the voices of over 26,000 students at the University on a broad range of topics and issues, on University Committees and across the University to ensure student representation continues to be recognised.
We want to hear about what’s happening right across campus, whether you want to speak to us about an academic or welfare issue, or something else, we will listen and ensure your views are heard.
We are looking forward to the year ahead, working with the wider SRC Council, and students from across the University. Please contact us at any time, whether via our email addresses which can be found below, or if you see us on campus!
Our Gilmorehill Campus is about to undergo a huge development project with the Western Infirmary site over the next decade. We want to ensure students have direct input into the development of the campus. The changing landscape of the University will bring so many new and exciting possibilities – and that’s just one area we’ll working on throughout the year!
Continuing to represent, enhance, support, and improve the overall experience of students at UofG is our main aim – and we will continue to work on this.
