GU4SDG is a network in which students have the opportunity to be proactive towards their preferred SDGs. The 17 SDGs are an universal call for action to urgently tackle global issues like climate change or social inequalities -among others- in order to achieve a more inclusive, fair and prosperous society.
The aim of our project is to raise awareness within the UofG community about the SDGs, identify how the university is being proactive towards SDGs and, ultimately, support and inspire SDGs-focused projects.
Our members come from different technical and cultural backgrounds, have different aspirations, interests, and want to make the world better in a different way. GU4SDG is the meeting point where all perspectives come together and point towards a more sustainable future. If you want to share your vision or simply make a change in your community but don’t know yet how, this is your society!
