Glasgow University Students Representative Council

We are a reading group which focuses on very long works of literature. In the past few years, we have covered novels such as Infinite Jest, Underworld, and The Brothers Karamazov.

Each week we will read a few dozen pages of our chosen book and come together to discuss what we enjoyed, what we didn’t, or simply what we didn’t understand! Prepare yourself for silly/weird/somewhat inspired conversation about big books.

This term’s group will be hosted online, commencing January 2021. In the meantime, we’ll be hosting several fun wee activities over on our Facebook page @gurgll!
