Glasgow University Students Representative Council

The University of Glasgow Psychedelic Society aims to support students and academics interested in the field of psychedelic science. Through a series of interdisciplinary talks and lectures by researchers in the field of neuroscience and psychiatry, we hope to provide education surrounding psychedelic research. We aim to educate individuals about the potential role of psychedelic medicine in treating conditions such as depression, addiction, anorexia nervosa, post-traumatic stress disorder and end of life cancer-related anxiety. Our society hopes to draw attention to minority groups within the field of psychedelic science, such as the LGBTQ+ community by inviting specialists in this field to speak at our conferences.
