Students for Global Health

Our aim is to raise awareness and tackle inequalities in global health

Students for Global Health (formerly Medsin Glasgow) is a global health society and part of a national global health network with 30 branches across the UK. We are a group of students interested in health from an international perspective. Our aim is to raise awareness and tackle inequalities in global health through education, action and advocacy on a local level. We organise different activities, projects and campaigns on a monthly basis and encourage students from all disciplines to take part in our events. In the past year we’ve focused on asylum seekers and refugees, access to HIV drugs worldwide and human trafficking. To keep updated about how to get involved check out our Facebook page – we are always looking for passionate people! For more information feel free to e-mail us
