We are an enthusiastic and friendly lot with both Hungarian and non-Hungarian members
Welcome to the Official Glasgow University Hungarian Society’s page.
Despite being a relatively new society on campus (only been present for a couple years) we are an enthusiastic and friendly lot with both Hungarian and non-Hungarian members.
We have many events throughout the year including quiz nights, dance events, board game nights and many others! So please come along to any of our events to get to know the Board members and others (keep an eye out for our page and the newsletter). Fear not if you don’t speak any Hungarian – the whole point is to get to know our culture, our ‘weird’ language and each other; and to help Hungarians integrating into the Scottish society and help them to get to know local customs and traditions as well.
So if you’re interested in getting involved with the society, need some advice from Hungarians who have been living here for a while or just up for a friendly night out, please get in touch with us through our page/website or drop us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope to hear from you soon and in the meantime enjoy Scotland as much as we do.
