Cultural Learning Alliance

Welcome to GU Cultural Learning Alliance!

Welcome to GU Cultural Learning Alliance! We are a new society founded by a diverse group of current students at the University of Glasgow with the aim of creating an all-inclusive network of students where we can educate ourselves and learn from each other in a safe environment.

Our society takes a fresh, global look at topics such as environmental issues, feminism, racism, social justice, mental health and more. Rather than focusing on one specific topic, our society has an eclectic lens where we are open to learn and discuss new things tailoring our discussion and events to the wants and needs of students.

Our activities include discussion panels, talks, film screenings, and more! Whether you want to get involved in discussions and events or just sit back and learn something new, we guarantee that there is something for you. All our socials are alcohol-free.

So, don’t worry if you feel like you don’t know much about a certain topic or subject – that’s what this society is about! From inviting guest speakers and networking to sharing our own experiences we are all here to learn.

Don’t forget to follow our social media, where we post event updates as well as informative posts with a focus on activism and current world issues. We want to be a platform for your voices, so if you have a topic you would like to write a post about for us to share on our accounts please reach out to us!
