Glasgow University Biomedical Engineering Society (GUBMES) is a student-led society based in the University of Glasgow for biomedical engineering students.

We maintain close contacts with the teaching staff and industry representatives to provide a well-rounded experience for students interested in biomedical engineering, particularly through our research divisions.
Our mission is to promote interdisciplinary approach to students by incorporating biology, physics, chemistry and engineering to help the creation of innovative technologies. We hope to create a community of people interested in biomedical engineering coming from different backgrounds and integrate academics and industry perspectives for students.
