Glasgow University Model United Nation is an interactive society which holds debates on the same premises as the United Nations. With this in mind, instead of representing your own opinions and views, you get to represent opinions of a country and debate on their behalf as their ambassador.
We are a student society that is thoroughly committed to raising awareness of the Palestinian plight in both the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, within the state of Israel itself, and the approximately 6.5 million Palestinian refugees worldwide in diaspora.
Glasgow University Politics Society is an independent student-run organisation which aims to create a social network for students studying or interested in politics. We hold weekly events from socials, to debates and political guest speakers. Find us on Facebook, or drop us an email.
We are the Glasgow University branch of the Scottish Greens. We are pro-Scottish independence,
and campaign on issues surrounding the environment, inequality, land reform, and many others!
During election season we support our local candidates by leafletting, canvasing, and hosting party
stalls as the university.
All in all, we believe that Scotland can be fairer, greener, and healthier!
