Along with the university's International Student Support, the SRC's International Students Officer in collaboration with other council members and different clubs and societies have planned events showcasing the different cultures across the university as well as activities to celebrate Chinese New Year.
My name is Charlotte Louise, and I serve on the Student Representative Council as the Disability Equality Officer. I grew up in the North East of England (Sunderland not Newcastle) and was diagnosed with both Dyspraxia and Asperger’s when I was 11 years old. Life as a disabled person is difficult but so very worth it.
Alongside our cross-campus Exam De-stress campaign, the SRC works closely with the university to identify and promote pop up study spaces students can use during the exam diet.
