Sports Coaching
What is it?
Well, as the names might suggest, it’s a sports-based project run jointly by the SRC, GUSA (Glasgow University Sports Association) and Glasgow City Council, so there’s plenty of support on offer.
Although this is run in conjunction with GUSA, it is open to all students, even non-GUSA members. Whatever the sport (football, hockey, even table-tennis), the scheme allows students to gain coaching qualifications through courses run by Glasgow City Council.

Please note:
All volunteers working with children under the age of 18 will be subject to a criminal records check (enhanced Disclosure) before they can start their placement – so the sooner you want to get started the sooner you should drop a line to SCA to get the Disclosure process started!
