Splash

This project offers students the chance to help out in swimming classes for children with special needs.

As a splash volunteer you do not need any previous experience or training (other than being able to swim), as you will be working under the supervision of a qualified swimming coach. You will also receive support and training throughout your placement from the SRC and Glasgow City Council Cultural & Leisure Services.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, for further information, or to get an application form, please call the SRC on 0141 339 8541 or e-mail volunteer@src.gla.ac.uk

Please note:
All volunteers working with children under the age of 18 will be subject to a criminal records check (enhanced Disclosure) before they can start their placement – so the sooner you want to get started the sooner you should drop a line to SCA to get the Disclosure process started!
