What Do We Do?
Do you ever feel like you are stuck in the “west end bubble"? Are you tired of reading negative press stories about students, think that you could use your time at Glasgow to do something positive and enhance your employability skills?
Well, you can.
How?
It’s easy. Just check out the projects run by the SRC on this page and get in contact with the SVSS Coordinator on the first floor of the John McIntyre Building.
Support – What can we do to help?
Lots.
- Accreditation: The SRC is signed up to the Scottish Government’s Millennium Volunteer (MV) awards, so not only will you be gaining some valuable skills, you’ll also have something to show for it.
- Disclosure: If you’re working with children or vulnerable adults, you’ll have to complete a Disclosure Check – but fear not, all you have to do is fill in the form. We’ll do the rest.
- Training: We’re on-hand to provide you with all the training and support you’ll need to succeed.
- Travel Expenses: We’ll pay ‘em.
