Glasgow University Service to the Homeless

Glasgow University Service to the Homeless (GUSH) offers students the opportunity to help homeless people living on the streets of Glasgow.

With thousands of people sleeping rough or at risk of sleeping rough in the city every year, volunteers can really help to make a difference to the lives of homeless people and provide and invaluable service to them.

GUSH operates ever Saturday night and fortnightly Wednesdays, partnering with Emmaus Glasgow for the midweek sessions. Volunteers will be asked to interact socially with homeless people while distributing hot drinks and biscuits.

Volunteers are required from 7.45pm – 10.30pm.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, for further information, or to get an application form, please e-mail volunteer@src.gla.ac.uk
