Conversational English
This project gives volunteers the opportunity to help international students improve their English skills by meeting with them for an hour or so once a week and engaging in conversation with them. You do not have to be a native of Glasgow to get involved, as anyone who is a fluent speaker is welcome to help.
The aim is not to teach anyone how to speak English as such, but by engaging in conversation with them you can help other students practice their spoken language and tutor them in areas they might be having problems with. You might even get the chance to learn a few words from another language from your speaking partner.
