Welcome to Jobshop
Jobshop is a Student Employment Service here at Glasgow University run by the Students’ Representative Council. We aim to provide students with access to a wide range of full time, part time, casual and seasonal work in and around Glasgow and further a field. As well as advertising for external employers we often advertise vacancies on behalf of the University.
These vacancies will not only allow students to earn extra money but will also help them to gain new transferable skills or enhance qualities they already possess. The service is free of charge to both students and employers.
Where is Jobshop?
Details of the current vacancies can be found on these web pages. We also display vacancy boards on the upper floor of the John McIntyre Building, which is at the main gate on University Avenue.

Vacancies are posted one working day after they are received and reviewed and will remain advertised for as long as necessary. For employers who are unable to advertise vacancies electronically please contact Laura Jennings on Tel: 0141 339 8541.
