Information, Administration and Reception staff (two positions available)
Main responsibilities will vary dependent on skills and aptitudes of applicants but will include contributing to the smooth running of the SRC by providing effective and efficient administrative support and providing an appropriate signposting and information service to students and prospective students. We are looking for several staff for these positions to work with us starting month of September 2008 (£7.00./hr).

Minibus Drivers (two positions available)
The SRC runs a Halls to Campus Minibus Service during term time and we are now recruiting new drivers for the next academic session. All applicants should have passed their driving test before 1997 and have a (d1) classification on their driving licence. (£7.00) per hour.

Advice Training and Policy Officer
Glasgow University Students’ Representative Council represents and campaigns on behalf of students at the University. Our Advice Centre is one of our flagship services, whose key aim is to strengthen the linkages between the actual issues facing students and the SRC’s campaigning priorities.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic team player with good communication skills and a commitment to social justice for the position of:
Advice, Training and Policy Officer
Salary: £18,710 – £24,403 (University Grade 5)
The successful candidate will have had some experience in an advice work, or policy role. The post will involve a mix of frontline advice work and the provision of support, briefing materials and training to elected student representatives.
