Find out everything about volunteering at Glasgow University at this informal workshop. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make a difference in your local community. It also helps to build your employability skills and looks great on your CV.
1-2pm Funding Workshop, Williams Room, First Floor, John McIntyre Building
Whether your already involved in a society and looking for new ways to get funding or want to join a society and make a change, the funding workshop will give you all the information you need about SRC top-up grants, Funderfinder and getting sponsorship.
4-5pm Introduction to Classroom Assistant & Mentoring Project with ‘ReachOut’, Williams Room, First Floor, John McIntyre Building

’Reachout’ are running sessions all week to give you the chance to find out more about getting involved in local projects as classroom assistants and mentoring projects. The sessions will last about an hour and there is no commitment.

From recruiting and retaining members to running events, this event will give you everything you need to know about making your society successful.
