One Dress | One Month

In November we saw the lads grow Mo’s for Movember. Now it’s March it’s the turn of the ladies to do their bit for charity!
This March the SRC are setting every woman a challenge to get up every day in for the month of February and put on exactly the same dress. We will be raising money for Glasgow Women’s Aid on justgiving.com
You can choose any dress you like choose a dress you own or use it as an excuse to go one last shopping trip before you start. There are loads of options to accessorise and the real challenge is how to make the dress look different every day! Email vp-support@gla.ac.uk if you’d like to take part and to show off some of your photos!

SRC Sabbaticals’ Efforts
Leading from the front, Tuula, the only girl in the sabbatical’s office is wearing a dress for the whole month to raise funds. As an added incentive, SRC President Tommy Gore has agreed to wear a dress from the day she raises £1000.00 until the end of the month!
So please donate money for Glasgow Women’s Aid through her JustGiving page, either if you want to support her in this challenge, the cause or because you want to see Tommy embarrass himself around the University.
The Kilted Samaritan
Not to be outdone on the basis of only his Gender, Vice-President of Student Support is also getting in on the action and wearing a Kilt for the entire month! It’s March and it’s still very cold in Glasgow, supporting him with a bit of cash is the least you can do, donate to Glasgow Women’s Aid on Fraser’s JustGiving page.
