10 Minute Massage
Monday 6th between 11-2pm
De-stress with a massage from a trained and qualified masseuse. This event is a drop-in, but to ensure you get a suitable time for yourself please email vp-support@src.gla.ac.uk to arrange a time.
Free Access to the Gym
All week, Stevenson Building
Just show your student or staff card at reception and you’ll be able to get free access to the gym, swimming pool and exercise classes available during normal opening hours.
Yoga Sessions
Tuesday and Thursday, 10am-1pm, Williams Room, John McIntyre Building
Take some time out from lectures, deadlines and stress to enjoy a relaxing yoga session suitable for even the most unsupple of us: beginners and experts all welcome.
STAG Play
Friday, 12-1pm, Bridie Library, GUU
Student Theatre at Glasgow will be performing 2 plays: On Top of Everything Else & Saying Goodbye, both of which explore a range of issues. A great way to add a bit of culture to your weekend!
QM Quiz
Friday, 4-6pm, QM Union
A great way to start your weekend, the QM Quiz will be full of opportunities to win great prizes and will be featuring Mental-Health related questions.
Doughnut Debate
Wednesday, 12-1pm, Williams Room, John McIntyre Building
The SRC have teamed up with Glasgow University Debates to explore one of the most contentious topics surrounding mental health and eating disorders: “This house belives that the media is being used as a convenient scape goat for eating disorders.”
QM Drop-In Session with University Services
Friday, 11-2pm, Jim’s Bar, QM Union
If you’re concerned about anything – be it financial, academic or personal – speak to one of the representatives from the SRC Advice Centre University Health Service, University Counselling Service, and University Disability Service. All discussions are confidential.
