Candidate Response – Pauline McNeill, Labour Party
Thank you for sending me a copy of the SRC Manifesto, which I was interested to read.
I share the aims of the SRC for good quality education and on quality of student life.
I continue to support further progress on student bursaries and my party is committed to more widening of access to further and higher education and remains opposed to the introduction of top up fees for Scottish students.
As you know I continue to support the extension of free prescriptions to all students and I am continuing to campaign on personal finance issues for students, specifically over bank charges.
