Finding accommodation is not always easy, we’ve got some tips on where to look, where to stay and what to keep an eye out for when you go flat viewing.
The SRC know that flathunting can be difficult and stressful. This week in our Fearless Flathunting campaign we will be highlighting our advice about accommodation as well as the pitfalls to avoid when hunting for your new flat. We’ll discuss what to look for, what to avoid and how to protect yourself.
We’ve put together four blog posts on different topics and will publish one each day this week under the Fearless Flathunting category. The topics covered will be:

- Deposits and the Tenancy Deposit Schemes
- Repairs, your landlord’s responsibilities, and protecting your possessions
We will also be encouraging students to share their experiences of current and previous landlords. So that future students can be better prepared going into a viewing, we will be collating the responses and posting them here next week.. You can fill out a short form here.
