So I guess if you got this far your wondering what does the SRC executive do. Well let me enlighten to my role on the executive.
I am responsible for anything to do with student welfare, from the quality of toilets in the library to student housing, I am your guy! It all very exciting, I promise! I am also in charge of our welfare campaigns and this year is going to be a busy one – each month we will be highlighting different student issues, so come back and check the website for more details.
But it is not all about campaigns and toilets. I also run RAG week. Rag stands for Raising and Giving, and the week will take place between the 25th and 29th of February 2008. It being planned right now and it is set to be big one!!
We have a team of volunteers that help out, so, if you want to be involved in student welfare campaigns or (what am sure will be) the best RAG week in the UK, then drop me a line. If you don’t want to take part directly, but still feel there is something that the SRC should be doing in the area of student welfare, then let me know or pop along to the office.
